LARRY PROCTOR, father of our Tammy Jones, is in SE Memorial Hospital following a series of strokes.
HERMINA LOLLAR, mother of Geri Ann Middlebrook and Jill Bradley, has been diagnosed with shingles.
CURT TAYLOR, friend of the Peaks, received a good report from the cardiologist and had her bilateral mastectomy last Friday. She went home on Sunday afternoon and is continuing to do well.
IRVIN ILLGEN, grandfather of Cara Tucker is home following a trip to the emergency room for chest pains.
MIKE POWERS, friend of Cleo & Judy Tarver in Arlington, will have an MRI tomorrow to look for cancer
Reminders
The Men’s Luncheon will be held tomorrow, February 7th at CJs Grill. Plan to join them at 11:30 for a time of good fellowship and food.
LTC weekly practices will continue this Sunday afternoon. Please check the schedule to be sure you know what time your age group practices.
Our annual Corporate Meeting will be held this Sunday, February 10th, during the evening service. Please plan to attend, to learn more about what is going on at Woodland Oaks, and also to review the budget for 2008.
Cory is looking for a Wednesday night junior high teacher. If you are interested, contact Cory as soon as possible.
There is a box in the foyer for Medina Children’s Home. Their Food Truck is coming the week of March 3, and they need Velveeta cheese and paper towels. See Brandy or Rick Medford for more information.
Garage Sale Items for Impact!
The Impact truck is planning to come again February 22. Refrigerators, furniture and any other items that would be useful to families or for the Impact Garage Sale in April 2008 are needed. Please contact the church office or Gary Tannahill for pick-up arrangements
