Bio of MAC BROCKMAN

Mac was born in Wharton, Texas and grew up in Angleton, TX. He graduated with a Business Management degree from Abilene Christian University in 1976. He was on the golf team and sang in Acapella chorus. During the summers of his college years, he sold books and Bibles for the Southwestern Publishing Company. After 40+ years mainly as a regional consultant in the Life Insurance Industry, Mac retired in 2018.

Beth was born in Jefferson, Iowa. She grew up in Florida, Tennessee, and New York where her father preached. She received her degree in Education from David Lipscomb  in 1975 and earned her Master’s Degree from ACU as a Reading Specialist in 1977, She taught in public schools for 7 years, and retired to be a full-time stay at home mom when their first son was born in 1981.

Mac and Beth married in 1978. They have 2 sons. Don and his wife, Brooke, have 2 children. They are members at the Memorial church of Christ in Houston. Ben and his wife, Allison, have 3 children and are members of the Woodland Oaks congregation. Their sons and their families, no doubt, are their greatest joy and blessing.

Mac and Beth have been faithful members of the Westbury church of Christ, Houston, TX (1977-78), and the Lake Jackson church of Christ, Lake Jackson, TX  (1978-1983). In 1983, Mac and Beth moved to Katy, TX where Mac served as a deacon from 1994-2001, and elder from 2001-2015 when they moved to Montgomery, TX to be closer to grandchildren.

The greatest goal of Mac and Beth is to faithfully serve the Lord and His church and to lead others to Him for salvation. Surrounded by faithful Christians who share that same goal they are encouraged and hopefully encourage others to stay on the path that leads to Heaven.
